Scope of Work
²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP was a trade partner for Whiting Turner on a job that included a unique and challenging space. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP loaded a 40-foot by 120-foot material barge in ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP's Baltimore Maryland deepwater marine facility with steel for the new two story building to be built on top of Pier 4. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP towed the material to Washington, DC and the crew and crane assisted the iron workers in setting all the structural steel for the building.

- Utilized a 4100 Crane on a 50-foot x 120-foot flexi-float barge
- Utilized a 40-foot x 120-foot flexi-float material barge
- Utilized approximately 650,000 pounds of steel
Lean, Innovative and Unique Project Solutions
With a tremendous amount of pre-planning, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP set up the material barge and crane barge in a tight space between Pier 4 and an operational police and fire response pier, with less than 10 feet to spare.
