Each year, the editors of ENR develop a list of the top newsmakers in construction, whittling it down to just 25 industry changemakers from across the country. This year, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP is honored that ENR selected Andrew Hallett, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP Senior Project Manager, to be featured on its Top 25 Newsmakers list.

²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP's Power & Energy team has seen tremendous growth in 2022, working with new clients in the South East and taking on milestone projects that break new ground for ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP. In May, the team was awarded a 100 kV rebuild in North Carolina and the company's first project for Central Electric Cooperative in South Carolina. Later in the summer, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP was awarded its first 230 kV bundle job for a client in Virginia. To wrap up the year, the team was awarded ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP's first-ever 500 kV transmission line project.

In March, four ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP apprentices headed south to Kissimmee, Florida, to compete in the ABC National Craft Championships. The team, who brought home one gold and two silver medals, included Dalton Mobley, Pipe Welder; Gavin Bailey, Structural Welder; Chris Langford, Lineworker Apprentice; and Adam Folsom, Pipefitter Apprentice. Additional ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP team members joined the competitors to assist with the event.

On September 28, 2022, many travelers heading south on Interstate 95 in Maine got a glimpse into ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP’s past, as a truck carried a near-pristine 1934 Ford dump truck down the highway. The dump truck, with the classic Cianchette Bros. Inc. displayed on both doors, turned a lot of heads that day, but none more important than that of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵAPP co-founder Kenneth Cianchette, who was celebrating his 98th birthday.
